FFUP is a century-old higher education institution focused on teaching and research in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Climate Action

FFUP’s Strategic Plan includes several initiatives aligned with climate intervention, promoting sustainability and a culture of environmental preservation:

• Commission for the dissemination and implementation of best sustainability practices since 2022;

• Promotion of technical-scientific events, such as the biennial workshop “Sustainability at FFUP”;

• Research focused on sustainability, particularly in the field of green chemistry;

• Energy and resource rationalization actions, along with community awareness programs;

• Dematerialization of processes, promoting a reduction in printing;

• Efficient management of urban waste, which earned us the “Green Heart” certificate from Lipor in 2024.
