Climate action

In the development of its activities, ALTERNÂNCIA:

• Uses eco-efficient materials with low environmental impact
• Implements a procurement plan for equipment made with easily reusable and/or recyclable materials, designed to reduce water and energy consumption
• Collects used cooking oils for recycling and ensures waste separation
• Chooses suppliers with environmental management system certifications, efficient technical support, accessible replacement parts, and extended warranty periods
• Promotes climate and sustainability topics in Citizenship and Development Projects, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
• Organizes awareness initiatives on climate and environmental issues and celebrates key environmental dates such as World Water Day, Earth Day, Recycling Day, Environment Day, Oceans Day, among others

At ALTERNÂNCIA, we believe in the power of awareness actions to promote climate and environmental protection. We are convinced that fostering engagement in these issues is essential for instilling values that lead to the sustainability of quality of life and the environment.
