Climate action

With our global presence in over 220 countries and territories, at DHL, we want and can ensure a significant contribution to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Our mission is to achieve absolute zero emissions by 2050 and, in this regard, we are investing €7 billion in measures to reduce absolute greenhouse gas emissions caused with our operations by 2030, with specific targets in line with the latest climate science. Investments are being channelled mainly into alternative fuels for air transport, the expansion of the zero-emission electric vehicle fleet, and carbon-neutral buildings.
