We stand for the concept of a corporate citizen through our actions, with the aim of acting and influencing positively not only our community, but also the communities that surround us. Only together is it possible to meet the challenges that the future presents us.
We have a structured, comprehensive, and ambitious sustainability strategy, with a set of policies, measures, and initiatives, involving all areas of our organisation, which, as a whole, contribute to reducing the environmental impact and defending our environment.
Among the various measures related to climate action, we highlight the continuous “GoGreen” programme, which brings together a series of specific measures related to our buildings which naturally includes our office, in the historical centre of Porto. The ambition to make our world better is diversified into measures ranging from energy, water, waste, consumption, and training. All these allow us to contribute as an active agent for the defence and sustainability on our planet.
These measures include: the implemented recycling process; the installation of flow reducers to reduce water consumption; the elimination of plastic consumption; occupancy sensors to optimise the use of light; the installation of LED lighting; the distribution of ecological awareness articles; the supply of 100% renewable energy in our buildings; the installation of solar panels, and the reduction of paper consumption. These are some examples of measures taken within the scope of the climate action that we have implemented.
Testimony
Critical’s purpose is to contribute to building a better and safer world. As the corporate citizen that it wants to be, and a B Corp company that it already is, Critical Software works toward an ambitious path in the three pillars that define Sustainability: economic, social, and environmental. That is why we enthusiastically sign the Municipality of Porto’s Climate Pact, joining so many others, so that Porto can be a greater example when it comes to the environment and the fight against climate change.
