Ágora – Cultura e Desporto, E.M. is the Porto-based company dedicated to Culture, Sports, and Entertainment. It is responsible for the programming, production, and management of these three activity areas, in alignment with the strategies and policies defined by the Municipality of Porto.

Climate action

Ágora is committed to transforming society towards carbon neutrality and has already implemented several concrete actions to achieve this goal. Some of these measures include waste separation and recycling, reducing the use of disposable or potentially toxic materials, widespread adoption of digital processes, and the gradual replacement of equipment to enhance energy efficiency.

Testimony

Ágora is a socially responsible company that recognizes carbon neutrality as an urgent and non-negotiable priority. Signing the Porto Climate Pact represents the formal commitment to a principle already embedded in the company’s daily operations. Ágora continuously promotes its activities—in culture, sports, and entertainment—with respect for the climate and environment.
